Life is complex. As I ventured toward downtown Manhattan I had every intention of directing my frustration toward the police. However, face to face, all I could see was their humanity.
[Downtown Manhattan | 7.8.16] I’ve been walking around in a fog this week with the murders of Alton Sterling and #Philando Castile heavy on my mind. I took some photos ... I needed to connect, even if only for a moment ... I needed to feel love from the universe, even if only for a second ... I needed to see a smile, to make sure they still exist.
[Union Square, NYC]   So many precious moments, everything is simultaneously living and dying, and time is our only true commodity. I want to inhale more nature, admire the elegant dance of fire, and create meaningful enriching memories.
