Letchworth State Park, Genesee Falls, New York

Located 35 miles southwest of Rochester, Letchworth State Park is known as the "Grand Canyon of the East." Breathtaking views, sweeping trails, and clean air! Wooden cabin with symphony of rain tapping on logs above. Paths and trails that wind around, up and down revealing more breathtaking views than moments before. Charcoal fires, the perfect marshmallow, toads, slugs, mist droplets on morning flowers. It is roughly a 4.5 - 5 hour drive from NYC & I highly recommend it for a weekend getaway.
